Bird is still abnormally docile this morning. Blood smear revealed multiple toxic heterophils. Will start on antibiotic treatment.

This bird was acting abnormally this morning. He was sitting on his hocks with his head hanging and responded only when touched. Did become agitated when handled for fluids. Blood was collected. Blood glucose was 187 mg/dL. When the bird was checked throughout the day, he was unusual docile and did not responded minimally to being touched or ausculted.

Intake exam. HR 100 bpm. There is a grade 1-2/6 heart murmur. On flexion/extension of the right carpus, there is intermittent clicking. No other abnormalities.
